- Do Keyword Research
Look at search results for the search term you want to rank with. Think about your search intent. If you were looking for your blog post what might be something someone would type into their Google search? Google what you are writing about. What keywords pop up?

What do you want to tell readers? What central question do you want to answer? What is the purpose of my article? What do you want readers to do at the end of the page?

- Have an Intro (Introduce your topic)
- Have a Main Body (Main message)
- Have a conclusion (Draw a conclusion or summarize main points)
In a few sentences write what you want to say in each area.

- Make Your Post Readable
Each paragraph should be one main idea. You should have headings and subheadings for easy post scanning, layout and to help readability. You should use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in at least some of your headings. AKA your keywords.
- Transition Words
You should use transition words to help focus your reader and improve readability.
- Use Related Keywords
You should use keywords and synonyms throughout your post for better SEO.
- Length
Your post should be as least 500 words or somewhere between 500 and 3,000 words.
- Link to existing content
If you have other related posts link to it. This helps rank in google better. Linking to related posts also helps readers navigate your site.
- Post Often
You should be posting a minimum of once per week. Posting often keeps your site active in search results. Do not miss a week.
